Still wanting to do Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland before hitting up Funconf then possibly stick around Dublin for a day or two afterwards.

I'll have to get back to you with an idea of our plans. I think we'll be moving out of our place at the end of August pre-funconf. Then we'll drive down to Ireland. Got Bel a ticket to funconf. Was hoping to do some surf exploring around Galway after Funconf, but being realistic with time I might be dreaming. Will see.. but our car shouldn't be too full if anyone wants to join us.

Oh, and IIRC you've got a return ticket to edinburgh? We will probably be in Pitlochry before funconf, so we could meet up with you if you fly there and want a lift to Ireland.

@DylanFM yeah, I fly back on the 28th, but that would be too late. I need to figure out if others are interested in a road trip since i assume your car would be full.

Probably just Bel and I and some bags. Can put the surfboards on the roof. So, possible room for 3 but better for 2.

I might just grab a return flight from BER to DUB for August 30 to September 3 as I will be heading off to Japan soon thereafter.

Hey. I think we're going to go across on a ferry from Scotland to Nth Ireland around 25/8. We'll drive across the top of IE, then down the west coast. Good surf along there, doing touristy stuff. May camp or get b&bs or something. After funconf I think we'll get the ferry from Rosslare (SE corner of IE) to Fishguard (Wales). Then we'll drive across England and get a ferry probably from Harwich to Rotterdam. We haven't booked anything yet, we'll probably start that today, would like to get these ferries locked in.

@DylanFM OK cool. It seems like flying for me will be the sanest thing since I shouldn't spend too much time in Ireland this time around.

Hm ok. I'm booking tickets now, but if you change your plans it should be easy just to call and add a person to our party. And if you arrive somewhere random, or want to go somewhere random, it could match up with our roadtripping about over there.

Booked one night here http://www.camdencourthotel.com for 30/8. Haven't sorted accommodation for 2/9 yet. Wondering if we'll be meeting near St Georges Green again on Friday morning.

Wicked. We're aiming to get there in the arvo. I think we might try to see Fogarty Castle in Tipperary on the way... will see. It's private property so they may chase us away with guinness.
