Bars: Stoddars, Park, Shay's (wine bar), Publik House, Deep Ellum (next to Lone Star Taco Bar---20 flavors of sipping tequilas...both of these are out of the way-ish but good), Zaftigs (home-cooked food and deli, extremely popular), Ghenki Ya (good sushi), erm...that's all I've got on this much coffee.

best restaurants on this side of the river are either Journeyman or Puritan & Co but they are higher end

Dylan, there are some good places in Boston proper, too. In Back Bay, Tico is a good tapas place, Lolita is a higher end mexican place with great guacamole and tequlias. In Cambridge (Harvard specifically) Ten Tables is excellent (you'll need a reservation and it's a bit higher end). Also in Harvard there's Park and Russell House Tavern.

A great tapas place is Tasca. Also, if you're looking for a good mexican place, check out Casa Romero in downtown/back bay. You'll definitely need a reservation there.

forgot to recommend Saloon for a bar

Oh yeah, I guess this can be used for #70.

@dylanegan I'm here for the week, anything on this list, bar or restaurant, that was memorable in particular?

dylanegan commented 8 years ago

@will I didn't get a chance in the end to try out much (as per file). I just remember boozy shakes at Grass Fed with a burger and/or fries. Went to Menton with a few people and that was nice.

@sr might have some tips as he's been to Boston quite a bit.
