October. One week. Kyushu? Just thinking of somewhere different. A day either side in Tokyo.

Would really love to… if I get to come to Berlin for JSConf, perhaps this could be on the way home?

Maybe, but that would eat in to time with @dgoodlad in Berlin. How many days would you want to be in Japan for?

benschwarz commented 11 years ago

Not sure, totally hypothetical… 7-10 days?

Yeah, @dgoodlad is in town September 17 until September 23. I need to be in Sydney September 25.

Ok, pending finances, this sounds like a great idea! Few trips coming up… first priority right now is September/Berlin, once I know whats going on there I can weigh in on this trip.

scottharvey commented 11 years ago

When are you looking to start making bookings? I would like to get settled in Thailand first before sorting out the next trip.

dylanegan commented 11 years ago

@scottharvey probably before the end of the month since this flight will be tied in to my flight back to Australia. Fucking :wedding:s.

scottharvey commented 11 years ago

That should work for me, I arrive in Thailand on the 19th so that will give me a week or so to settle in before deciding.

If I do head over to Japan I will probably stay another week or two and catch up with family in Tokyo.

:exclamation: Not sure I'll be able to swing it. This would be most excellent though. Hrmm…

@scottharvey I had to change my dates and make it the beginning of my trip. I am now there September 22 (00:01) to September 26 (20:30).

@foca are you going to be in Japan around then?

I've just messaged a friend who moved back with her boyfriend so hopefully I can catch up with them in Tokyo.

Unfortunately because of the short trip I doubt I'll do any side trips this year, but that remains to be seen. I'd love to hit up Kyoto again.

foca commented 11 years ago

No :'(

I get there on Oct 2nd.

You can come to India before that, though :D

@dylanegan Looks like I won't be making it over to Japan this time around but I am starting to get the feeling I'll be back in Europe sometime with an eye to stay longer term. I'll keep you updated :)

dylanegan commented 11 years ago

@scottharvey bugger, but sounds good on the other.

dylanegan commented 10 years ago

Japan, you never get old.
