It's either incredibly simple or nigh impossible with our current setup.

honestly i would love to have an automation selector for damage-dealt to try and set up an ephemeral effect to heal based on said damage for moves like absorb or giga drain

It is not 5 minutes of work, but it's also not 2 hours of work, so I'll scope this for a future update.
