Sent messages appearing twice #174

Starting on January 18th or so, every message I send appears twice in the dialog.

I've been seeing this, too. I'll try to track it down.

Let's try this trivial fix first. If anyone is no longer seeing sent IMs after this, we can put in the more complicated version.

I'm seeing duplicate sent/outgoing messages that just started happening on a couple of users running on Windows (Latest Pidgin 2.14.12) and the latest download of libslack.dll from @EionRobb (as of today 4/25/23). One user started in January 2023 (same Slack workspace) started in Jan 2023, now happening to others. Anyway to resolve this? Thanks

Is the issue supposed to be fixed? For me it still happens using bitlbee and the plugin built from main plus #162 and #185.
