This may/may not be required by users - more user testing is needed. This feature may ask more of the user than is necessary (as they'd have to import all the video clips that are associated with the .fcpxml file, plus the .fcpxml file itself). Currently the proposed solution requires the user to render the entire video first and then import the rendered video file into the OpenCaptionsMaker app.
Effort involved
Additionally, implementing such a feature would require building a fundamentally new mechanism to process multiple video clips and only analysing relevant sections of audio as described by the .fcpxml file. Quite a lot of work. Additionally, multiple audio clips would be uploaded to a transcription service in a batch.

Conclusion
Will not work on this for now.
