I firstly understand that the new DYMO Connect with DYMO Label 550 Turbo is not supported within a citrix environment \ vdi infrastructure, but i have got it working & can print fine. The only issue i have is a UI issue and that it shows as ‘Disconnected’ on the DYMO Connect app, also the number labels doesn’t show but i’m not too worried about that.
I understand why this is happening and it’s because when you apply the static IP address locally, it only requires, IP, Gateway & Subnet details. If it also asked for host name – this wouldn’t be an issue.
We are a large office in London, and each floor may have 1 or 2 dymo, with 5-10 secretaries each floor needing the device, inside Citrix ideally... if not locally.
Is anyone able to help remove this disconnected message so its not showing for users?
Or can we hack a way round applying a host name locally during the setup?
Or if we cannot get this to work, is there a way we can setup the shared network printer locally and populate around to lots of users via a script file?
