Search bar doesn't always work

When creating a new tab, the search bar doesn't always work correctly.

In most cases, searching with the Enter key doesn't work. This usually happens when the search bar has a black background when focused as opposed to white.
In minor cases, the search box will not allow the user to type.

Workaround: Whenever you create a new tab, press the newly created tab.

This issue seems to only be present in the Game Bar.
