We may want to upgrade to latest Phonegap when doing this task.

Making progress. phonegap has gotten a little nicer to work with; they've got a JAR that packages everything.

May be subverted by the use of the offline app cache. Will write up instructions on how to use the appcache, and then check with SK whether I can drop the android phone packager for cs019 or not. I would prefer to drop it.

I believe I can drop this. Closing. If sk or the cs019 TAs make this an item, I'll reopen.
