Love the YouTube video, the project and the success of the finished product. Great work! Your attention to detail and ingenuity show though often. Just a comment about the switch. I tried several switches from various sources and often those on Amazon do not have the force to operate the switch in either grams or newtons. After ordering a couple different models I found a Honeywell switch I could disassemble. Once opened I bent the arc in the spring a little tighter. This reduced the force required to operate the switch an made it compatible to the application. I post this here because if your viewers/readers are savvy/mechanical/technical enough to build the feeder they are certainly gifted enough to hack the switch. I could post a pic or two if you like. Happy reloading!
I have couple of questions, If you could give me a feedback I would really appreciate. Guide Rod: a. What would be the total length? I mean, I have a 500mm rod and need to cut it before bend and thread it. b. By the STL file I see the height would be 290mm and width 55mm. Is that right?
To Fix Sail Bottom into the Shuttle a. do you drill the hole and fix the screw with glue?
Thanks.
if possible could you trace the profile of the guide rod onto some kind of graph paper with a known box size so i can bend the profile as close as possible to your proven prototype?
