nRFMon right click options on macbook #10

Using the built in trackpad I am not yet able to access the right click options. Reducing the scan range is therefore not possible.

Try using <shift> + <drag left mouse button> I should probably add a numeric entry field in the nRfMon settings tab.

I'm totally ignorant of the macbook HMI interface. Do you mean the right click does not work, or that there is no right click and therefore you cannot access the right click options?

Right click on mac with a trackpad is covered here none of the options appear to work for me.

You tried the <shift> + <drag left mouse button> solution and it didn't work? Or just the (workaround-ish) right click for Macs?

@jcw provided a patch, long time ago, for properly opening the serial port on a mac. I'd be glad to include code that solves the macbook problem, however I feel very humble to try to defeat Apple's idea of 'simplicity and elegance' in the user interface, (which goes back in time about 38 years :-) Not to mention that I have no access to a macbook to try it, in the first place.

I have tried <>shift<> + <>drag left mouse button>> but no joy. I have also tried with an external mouse and still don't get the red lines to shrink the scan area. I doubt it makes any sense for you to chase it since you don't have the hardware.

In that case I'll have to include a numeric entry field for that purpose, as solution. I will mark this issue an enhancement, to have it visible in the list.
