4965 driver causes reboot problem #58

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install the driver
2. Reboot
3. Wait to see "You need to restart your system" dialog

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of iwi are you using? 4965
On what verion of IO80211Family or kernel? unknown

yup, same thing happened to me... i almost had to do fresh install (very bad) 
but i
figured out how to enter boot options (after selecting macosx from vista boot 
menu
pressed f8 right away) and then entering -s as the option... this let's you 
enter
terminal mode and i followed the uninstallation instructions...

The uninstallation procedure didnt work for me so I had to reinstall OS X.

When I booted with -v it reveled that after the driver loaded it caused a kernal
panic. Not sure what this means, but im sure it helps.

same here - running osx86 10.4.9, intel 4965

too bad that network does not work, as everything else worked perfect.
