Network Selector 3945 ab/g: Could not get ID for kernel control #87

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installation On IBM Thinkpas T60
2. Install 
3.

What version of iwi are you using?
3945abg Last SVN

Hello, I installed iwi3945, no problems during installation or after
rebooting (nor kernel panics or anyother things), but: 1. My system does
not detect any wifi car, nor airport or other 2. When I try to run
NetworkSelector, "Applications/networkSelector ; exit; Could not get ID for
kernel control. 2 logout" What should I do?

I have the same issue on my Lenovo T60 20076pu. The install completes and the 
machine reboots problem-
free, but the wireless does not work.

Got the same problem with my packard bell easynote MB65-P-028
I just hate it when wifi fails :(

same with me i install 2200bg no problem run network selecter same thing as you 
guys! using 2200bg SVN

Installed on Fujitsu S6311 and had the same problem. Whenever I try to run
NetworkSelector, I get the "Applications/networkSelector ; exit; Could not get 
ID for
kernel control. 2 logout". Also, the network interface is not detected under 
network.

No errors or kernel panic experienced.

same on my advent laptop,
installed but when i try to run network selector iget the:
Could not get ID for
kernel control. 2 logout
error

nothing else goes wrong.
