easy way to install Intel 3945 drivers? #90

I was trying to find a short guide other than that one on insanelymac.com
because it seems complicated over there.
one more thing 
on the first step in that guide and after editing the repository in svnX by
putting http: ... etc 
the new screen never came up the one with Date, Author Log Message ..
it just freezes and i cant see any new windows as it says in the guide
