An option to execute any external program would be awesome. #4

It would be awesome to have an option where a user can specify an arbitrary program to run and associate it's execution with a shortcut key. Also, allowing the use to specify parameters at each run would be great.

:-) working on it already.... look at last few commits. will send you a snapshot as soon as i close this issue.

No, hurry. Whenever it's ready just include it in the next version. Also, if you could submit your plugin to netbeans.org so that it (the pulugin) can be installed automatically from within NetBeans, that would be nice. This is one of those cool plugins that are much better than other alternatives but they must be found out on the Internet and installed by hand.

i have just uploaded https://github.com/downloads/kinkadzs/QuickOpener-NetBeans/quickopener_unstable.nbm can you test it? hope you like it. didn't test it a lot but i think it does what i want. if it is good than i will upload it in the netbeans portal.
