I was experiencing failure when trying to load data in from my mongo dump, this is the patch for the error I was experiencing, as mentioned in #88, load worked after this change

Adding some troubleshooting tips to this PR as well, to help mitigate issues like the ones I was encountering while trying to get started with this, also spoke to @achasmita who had similar advice.
