I can't be sure unless you tested but 1820A is supported, 1660ti is not important because Nvidia cards are not working in big sur. 144 Hz might have some problems you need to test it.
What is the meaning of M2 of unsupported M2
When I switch from clover to OC, I find that the boot Mac will flash back when the logo appears, and the win will be stuck after restarting. Is this related to the BIOS settings?
no, it's not a bios related thing. For enabling -v in opencore use usb-config as a config and reset NVRAM. You can reset NVRAM by pressing the space button and select reset NVRAM option in boot selection. After that take a screenshot for error and share. Unsupported M2 = Your M2 SSD is not supported (Some of these laptops like mine has Micron SSD and its blocking installation of macOS even if you are not intending to install OSX on it)
I used config- BroadcomWifi.plist This configuration enables - V unlimited restart. After adding the parameter - keepsyms = 1 debug = 0x100, you can enter it and get stuck. Please go to https://panic.apple.com to report this panic ]
It seems you have some touchpad issues. Try this config for booting. config-BroadcomWifi.plist.zip Also, attach your previous clover configuration your device might have a different GPIO Pin Code.
Using the config you gave me, I successfully entered my 10.15.7. Where did you modify it? Except that the touch pad and sound card can't be used at present, other things are normal
config.zip Here is my previous clover configuration
The ID I configured for my sound card has been able to drive. At present, other than the touchpad can not be used, it is perfect.
I need entire zip not just config because I need ssdt files to check your touchpad configuration. It seems you device has different touchpad and sound configuration I ll make this repo avalible for your device as well. You can use opencoreconfigurator app to edit config.
CLOVER.zip Excuse me, I try OTA bigsur, but the - V is infinitely rebooted and the logo is stuck all the time. This is a very strange problem
By the way, I didn't turn off CFG
Hello, I have successfully installed bigsur. I have encountered a lot of problems in the process. Now what I am missing is the driver of the touch panel. In addition, can the fan monitor it
I'll check your touchpad issue it's fixable but I'll do it when I can. But I can't monitor the fan it needs too much effort to work or one-day virtualsmc might support it.
thank
Keyboard backlight I can use that program
yes you can use roghid but read its description you need to install macrogaura to usr/local/bin first
Did you turn on hidpi? I feel 1080p is very fuzzy on Mac
no, I tried once but the native resolution was better on 1080p on my side
It's a little unclear how macrogaura is used
copy it on usr/local/bin that way you can access it with terminal then install RogSwitch not RogHID if you want or use macrogaura with terminal.
can you test this one if there is any panic provide a log config-BroadcomWifi.plist.zip
KuWo's touchpad can be driven, but now there is a problem. When I turn on the apple logo, the screen will be flowered, and the logo will become colorful. Is there a problem with my kernel display driver?
HEVC Hard solutions don't seem to work
Hello, after I patched my kernel display, the logo screen has been solved. Now it is basically perfect. In addition to the slow start-up, thank you for your help
it seems your issue high refresh rate related. What is kuwo's touchpad? And did you just increased Video Ram size for the fix?
The touchpad has been able to be driven, and I used the hackintool patch to solve my boot splash screen problem and improve the memory
No, I turn on the logo. Will the logo flash or exist
I didn't understand you well enough. My Questions: 1-) Is the last config enabled your touchpad properly or you fixed in some other way? 2-) Is Disabling -v command and changing VRAM size enough for your screen problem or you did something else? 3-) Is your AppleALC layout id 23? I am asking these questions because I am planning to support the g531gu variant in feature releases.
1 -) the touchpad can be driven with your last config 2 -) does not solve the problem that the logo will take a little screen to enter the system successfully when starting up 3 -) Yes, the ID is 23
ok thanks, I am closing the issue. It seems your problems are solved.
In addition to the logo on the screen, everything else is perfect
I didn't understand what is the logo on the screen( apple boot logo)? Can you share a screenshot?
yes apple boot logo For a short time, it turns colorful, and then it turns white
It's probably whatevergreen related on my side I have no such issue probably it's happening because of the high refresh rate. Logo protocol is changing in every major os. Does that issue happen on Catalina as well with my EFI?
Catalina Does not appear
Is it the loading sequence of drivers that the keyboard cannot be used after a restart
Last night, I studied the problem of replacing the fake ID Apple logo for the kernel display. It has disappeared
G531GU GTX1660ti 144hz 1820A available? Can I use bigsur???
