I just checked the reset button that worked really well for active areas, items, set items, flags and variables. Everything was back to how it was meant to be initially, however, timers didn't run after the reset button.
P.S. I had a flag needed to be activated in order for the timer to start. And in the timer's options, I have the "Multiple starts" and "Runs in loops" disabled. It is recommended for my game to have these two unchecked/disabled, in case that has to do anything with the reset.
