History command incorrect numbering #4

Open e0313687 opened 4 years ago

I entered history 50 until there were 50 history commands recognized by the system, then the next command history 52, then the next command straight after history 54, one after the other. But the history 52 and 54 shouldn't have been valid commands.

Team's Response

please view attached for the snippets under our end, works on all 3 operating systems, not sure what happened on your end, one possible reason might be that 'history 50' was your 50th command hence the system prompted that you did not have that many past commands, thus when you entered 'history 50' a few more times followed by 'history 52', you managed to accumulate enough history commands for the system to display to you. however, i'll need the full screenshot of the commands printed after 'history 52' and 'history 54' was entered to fully analyse this issue.
