counter #783

counter is stuck at only 1 hit, it is not counting page views

About what counter are we talking specifically? The counter menu plugin?

yea counter(siteinfo), it is hanged at 1, it is not counting people's visits to my site,

This is probably because this plugin has not been updated for v2. It has been removed from the core package. You probably upgraded from v1 and therefore you still have the files in the plugins folder. Having said that, it should still work on v2.

I'll see what I can do.

Two questions

Do you have the 'log' plugin installed and active? ('Statistics logging' it's called I think)
Are there any log files in the e107_plugins/log/logs folder?

first it was giving an error that log/....php. not found , then i copied it ,from e107 v1 to the plugin folder, and then the stats appeared but hanged at 1,it was working on old e107, I think u should tell me wat to do from start, thanks

should i install fresh e107 v1, then upgrade to e107 v2, hmmm.

I've tried to review this but I think it's a waste of time. Simply use the statistics logging plugin to get all the information you need. The counter menu in v1 has been removed in v2 as (most of) the functionality is now present in the plugin called 'Site Stats'.
