Ignore whitelist in Windows Share scan (agentless over SMB) #60

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Create C:\temp and C:\temp\secret directories in a PC
2. Share C:\temp directory to anyone. (Any subdirectories will be shared
automatically)
3. Create files with SSN#s in both C:\temp and C:\temp\secret directories
4. Whitelist c:\temp\secret subdirectory
5. Scan for SSN#

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

OpenDLP should not scan directories in whitelist
OpenDLP ignore whitelist, and scanned all files

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

OpenDLP 0.4.4. Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

I ran with intense verbose log enabled, line 25 to 33 showed OpenDLP read in
the whitelist. Please see screenshots from log, scan report and profile.

Thank you

Tom

Change the blacklist to "temp\secret" and see if it works.

Hi Andrew,

It still scans the blacklist folder.

Thanks
