An engagement action defines a response to a specific problem that will be undertaken to achieve specific objectives
An action must be linked to an engagement. This allows tracking of different actions by engagement. For example, it should be possible to track the progress of implementation of actions that were specified and adopted during the the last PCRA exercise. See #16
Implementation
When defining an action, the user must specify the following:
Engagement:. The engagement that resulted into this action
Issue / Problem: What is the issue that is being addressed by the action?
Objectives: What are the objectives to be achieved after completion of the action
Action Phases:. What are the phases that an action will have to go through till its completion. The user is presented with an option to select an Action Phase Template whose steps will be adopted into the Action
Expected Results: What are the expected outcomes or results once the action is completed. E.g by building a dam, it is expected that the communities living near the dam will have access to water for their livestock
Mitigation / Adaptation: Does the action being undertaken mitigate a problem or does it seek to adaptation to the problem ?
