An action (#19) contains a series of tasks that must be executed during the implementation of the action. A task must be linked to an engagement

Implementation

An Action Task will have the following attributes:

  1. Engagement Action:. Action for which the task is related to
  2. Task Name. The name of the task being executed
  3. Task Description. Detailed description of the task being executed
  4. Task Type:. Type of task. These will be pre-defined
  5. Start Date: Date when the task is expected to start
  6. End Date: Date when the task is expected to end
  7. Assigned To: Who is responsible for the execution of the task. Allow assignments to multiple users/entities/groups. A task can be the responsibility of one or more people/entities
  8. Required Resources: What are the resources that will be needed to execute the task. Allow allocation of multiple resources
  9. Task Priority: Assign a priority to the task
  10. Progress: The overall progress of the task
  11. Status: The status of the task. (Not Started/In-Progress/On-Hold/Completed)
  12. Task Dependencies:. List of tasks that must be completed before this task can be executed
  13. Is Milestone. Is this task a milestone?
  14. Latest Update:. Holds remarks from the latest update
