seeing "There are no events involving substance NITROGLYCERIN !" on /event/substance/NITROGLYCERIN in testing. I can reproduce on https://egt-gsa-catalyst.egt-labs.com/event/substance/NITROGLYCERIN by refreshing the page

Fixed in 952228b.

Combination of smart client-side error handling when the API rate limit is reached, and some server-side caching to reduce the query volume.
