How about making wads from nothing?

Not using a base, but making each new wad from scratch in a "wysiwyg"-like
environment.

Creating everything from scratch would be more work, but a gui like this
would inspire creativity in everyone :P

Would be the best wad creator ever:)

What you're thinking of would require the handling of brlan's and brlyt's which 
would
be much much work and likely I'll never proceed with it. Also, how would a 
wysiwig
editor for wads should look like?

Starting from scratch in the current version would be possible of course, but 
you'd
still need to have your brlan's, brlyt's, etc.
I already thought about implementing it, but I was too lazy as you could simply 
load
a wad (e.g. the static base) and just replace everything.
Well, maybe I might add an option to start from scratch.
