From the report: "The Board and Staff team have sufficient financial management skills for their role. Overall eQuality Time trustees and COO lack financial management skills and capacity. The Treasurer has some background in starting organisations but no formal background in charity financial management."

Recommendation "A skilled accountant with charity and grant accounting experience should be employed/engaged to maintain the books of accounts, provide monthly financial reports and lead on the financial management of the organisation. (section 3)"

Action - while we have a accountant who is a charity specialist who prepares our annual accounts, this is significantly below the recommendation. This needs trustee discussion.

TLL accountants do fit the bill, I expect we shall decide at AGM if they will be our accountants on an ongoing basis, which would fulfill this task.

Next action: requires decision at AGM
