Background

I've been playing with some ideas around applying TMC to drawing for a while, and it occurs to me that you can do some good work if you think in proper layers - the body shape, the outlines, the detail - and use tracing paper to keep revising it (and to move it around). I really think this could work, but there are a few problems:

It's very vague
I don't know how to draw, or have an establish process

What's the output?

A demonstration from students or a decision NOT to bother
A basic briefing note/blog describing what we are doing next

Plan

[x] Find an established process for drawing and see if you can replicate it as an idiot
- Read the 'drawing for children' book you were recommended
- See if you, a noted drawing idiot, can replicate the process.
[ ] design an afternoon workshop that can be slotted into a WWW camp.
[ ] Alert Richard to summon you at short notice (when he has a go

I went and piloted it (disc2022) and have some notes for how to do it differently. Might be good to do next time I do one on my own.
