...but worth doing.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
From April 2019 the priorities for the Luton Youth Fund will be changing.
London Luton Airport Ltd and Luton Borough Council have been working in partnership to improve the quality of life of children and young people in Luton through the Luton Youth Fund via Bedfordshire & Luton Community Foundation. Due to the recent rise in the exploitation of children and young people in the area and the number of young people involved in serious violence, sexual exploitation or other gang associated behaviours, as a response the Luton Youth Fund priorities will be changing from April 2019.
From April 2019, Luton Youth fund will only fund programmes tackling any form of exploitation of children and young people such as gang associated behaviour, serious violence or sexual exploitation, which encompass a multi-agency approach. This may also include outcome-focused interventions around learning, life skills, employment and also prevention including teaching, supporting, mentoring and inspiring children and young people or parents within structured programmes of awareness to avoid any form of exploitation.
Should anyone have any queries about the changes to the fund you are welcome to contact our colleagues Luton Youth Offending Service (David Collins). He, in conjunction with the Foundation will be acting as a Relationship Manager for this fund. You are welcome to speak with a member of staff at BLCF who can provide you with the contact details.
Criteria and Guidance documents for the new priorities will be available to view in the New Year.
