We don’t fund basic digital skills training aimed at enabling generic digital capability and overcoming digital exclusion, but can fund specific digital skills required in the workplace.
That last one is a real pain for Digital Local Heros... I wonder if there is another intervention we have... Vocational training and skills gaps eh?
I had a brainstorm, and a google, and I think I ran into the problem that a) I don't really believe that the funder has the right idea and b) that there is much evidence backing the funder. This is a fund for BAE to train some apprentices.
