machine creation on research cloud fails when following steps from documentation #133

Hi all,

I just followed the steps in the docs to create a new machine on research cloud and it failed to create. See the attached log file (removed by Peter)

I can't find where I went wrong, or if something changed that makes the proces not work anymore.

I had a look at the log file. The error is a bit difficult to read, since the failing task is not formatted properly like the rest of the log. I manually formatted it a bit, so you can see what the actual error is:

I think it might be this issue: https://github.com/pyca/pyopenssl/issues/1143

if I understand correctly, rolling back to an older version of crypto would fix this for us, but I don't think that is what you want?

or do we just need to update to the latest commit of OpenSSL where the issue you link to has already been fixed & merged??
