Upgrade the hamcrest dependency to version 2.2 #42

The current version of hamcrest date is depending on the hamcrest version 1.3. It is old dated and we need to use the newer version as 2.2.

Hi, Apologies for taking a while to respond and thanks for upgrading. I'll cut a new release (3.0.0) which includes the change and upload to maven central

Is there any time planned to create the release version 3.0.0? Or is there any technical issue that blocks it and maybe I can help you overcome it?
