This was too difficult to explain in the Transformation Mapping Spreadsheet so I created a new Google doc (which is not yet linked on the wiki since it needs discussion):

Implementing this would enable us to start taking advantage of some of the few new RDA elements that are being used in MARC. A really good demonstration of how XC can make RDA more useful.
