We need to perform a reconcile of Jennifer's Transformation Excel document against the test records. The test cases grew over time and we have never done a review to make sure all test records are in the "automated test records" that Ben and John run prior to each MST release.

Additionally, Jennifer uses color coding in her spreadsheet to indicate, among other things, implemented and not implemented features, and there is some uncertainty in a few cases where prior developers didn't change the color coding for things that are reported to have been implemented. Jennifer is working on documenting some future changes and we need to get the spreadsheet cleaned up.

Can you please bring up an MST UI that Jennifer can use to test the test records. Anything she finds missing will be added to the automated tests.

The initial input->output testing framework I wrote used mocked up non-oai files (input_records). This is the format that the original test suite (186) is in. Unfortunately this test method only outputs the xml - it doesn't actually incorporate the records into a running mst. The second iteration of the test framework (mock_harvest) is superior in that the input and output format is valid oai-pmh and the records actually run through the mst. Every test set we've created since the creation of this test framework has been done using this method. However, I never converted the original test set over to the new format. This is a necessary step to satisfy this request. It's a good thing to do, though, and we can finally discard that original testing framework. The documentation will also need to be updated to use the second iteration.

I see this as 3 different tasks (one of which I have completed)

1a) convert all tests from processfiles to mockharvest. [COMPLETED] 1b) convert example processfiles test to mockharvest (and update documentation) 2) add records referenced by Jennifer's spreadsheet to a test set (some might be, but certainly at least some are not) 3) run these tests in the demo so that Jennifer can view the results

As we prepare to move to Jira tomorrow, I don't want to move any issues assigned to Ben, so moving them all to John (sorry John).
