Wordpress settings differentiate between these two template files in such a way that I am not taking advantage of the system. Change these files to confirm to wordpress community standards.

the idea is to make it so that if you set a page as the blog feed, have that page look more like a typical blog with headline and content. Make the "more content" link at the end extend the content so that someone doesn't have to leave the page. Or, if javascript disabled, then have it link to the actual post.

have implemented base logic to make it so that static home page shows as it should and applied generic blog archive template with the tiles of 4 per row to the home page when showing latest posts or on blog feed. need to design a template that fits the intended design.
