Same issue here. Tried redownloading mod, no change. I am also on Windows 7, 64
bit... maybe this is an issue? (I can't think why it would be)

actually since i posted that I have fixed the problem. First i re downloaded
the mod (but don't know if that's what fixed it). Then after putting it in the
correct folder I enabled the mod manually through the enabled mods text file.
This way it starts the mod when you start the game instead of restarting it
when you enable the mod from the game. Don't know if that will work for you but
thats how i fixed it.

How do you add the mod to the enabled mods folder manually?

the mods folder is located at documents - mygames - ironclad - sins rebellion -
mods v1.1 or mods v5.5 depending on which version you are currently using. You
paste the unzipped mod in that folder. There may already be an enabled mods
text file in the mods1.1 or mods 5.5 folder. If there is delete it and paste
in the text file i have attached. If there is not just paste in the text file i
attached. This will enable the mod manually. However if you are running v5.5
you may have to downgrade your sins to 1.1 as that is what the mod is designed
for and it may not be compatible with 5.5. However I do not know how to do that
so if you do have trouble running after doing everything i just told you, you
can either figure out how to downgrade to 1.1 or wait till a 5.5 version is
released.

Same problem here, with Rebellion. I modified my enabled mods in:

M:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire
Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.52

With the suggestions above. It worked.

Hello,

Just found this mod for sins and I downloaded it. (Big SG fan). However my game
crashes just after enabling the mod (on the SGI loading screen). I tried the
solution above and had no luck.

Game is up to date. I'm new to the mod scene but am really keen to get this SGI
mod working.

I'm running Win 7 x64 all up to date.

Thanks folks

It is possible that the version of sins you have is newer than the mod version
you downloaded. This happens pretty often since the sg team updates far less
frequently than the sins team. If this is the case all you can do is wait for
the stargate team to update their stuff.

All sorted, it doesn't crash any longer.

Re-wrote the enabledmods.txt.

Cheers folks
