I would say that frigate type vessels should have fighter movement. And
cruisers/capital ships should not.
Reason being, you need the cruiser and cap fire power to stay in one location
to hash it out with the enemy. Can't do hit and runs when the ships are slow as
molasses.

Exactly.

No fighter movment except for light frigates because there meat shields anyways
but the rest it just makes it so hard to coordinate a battle

Exactly Jason...battles seem to take twice as long due to fighter movement.
It's a real pain in the arse.

all ships will have fighter movement. However they all will be adjusted to
reflect real life battles. Atm they are not adjusted

Is there any way you can briefly explain what we'll see after the adjustment?

It's not that I have any doubts that you guys will make it good...it's
just...idk...it feels like I have no command of my vessels when they start
moving all around without me telling them to. and often times, the fighter
movement will take them into harms way...like right into the firing range of a
starbase or what not. *sigh*

That is pretty much the best point right there. In the real game we can keep
our fleets away from areas of real danger and with this change the ships will
(and do) fly stupidly into range of objects that we could otherwise avoid.

Also, fighter movement with all your ships means that you have all kinds of
weird uncoordinated attacks since all your ships break formation to do their
hit and runs...Once you lose unit cohesion, it all kinda becomes chaotic....if,
perhaps, there was a Tau'Ri command like "evasive maneuvers" that switches on
fighter movement, that would be one thing.

Ok guys update time ship speeds have all went down and all have been adjusted
Now fleets almost move in unison also weapons have been adjusted to reduce
running out of gravity wells
BTW u guys do know u can turn auto attack off correct . With the new updates
things are smoother battle wise . Also we have reverted. Back to vanilla
gravity well sizes and mesh , textures . Things look better
