https issues /secure connections #1

several of the slideshows use external graphics - which is problematic because they are not https bound and thus trigger a "site is insecure" message in the browser. it would be good to move these graphics into the repo to avoid this issues in the future or to find a way to include non "Secure" graphic content within a secure site. (not likely possible).
