Error drawing polygon on/near poles #36

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use the polygon-edit sample

2. Navigate globe to the north pole
3. Draw a polygon right on top of the pole

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The shaded shape should match the interior area designated by the points drawn. 
 It actually looks like the line segments (that show the draggable midpoints) 
are in the correct places, but the polygon itself becomes completely 
unrecognizable.

I apologize for putting this bug in multiple times - I was getting server 500 
errors when submitting and didn't realize it had gone through.
