Polygon fill inconsistent with identical polystyle parameters

Which products are affected?
Polygons of one color and opacity drawn inside of another polygon of a 
different color and same opacity.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. See the attached file to view the problem.  For instance, the .10 
contour in Canada and the one stretching into Ohio have the same polystyle 
color and opacity, yet display differently.
2. Interestingly, if I select the outer contour (.01) and manually change 
its properties to 100% opaqueness, then just click cancel, the colors of 
the inner contours correct themselves.
3. It occurs each time I create the kml file and each time produces the 
same output (shading remains consistent from run to run for each contour).
4.  I've tried changing extrude, tessellate, and the elevation value, but 
with no change. 

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
Colors for identical contours should be the same color.  They are 
different.  See comments above and the attached file.  Also, the polyfill 
is more transparent at the same opacity in 5.0 vs 4.3, but I noticed this 
has been already filed as a problem elsewhere.

What application versions (if any) are you using?
GE Pro 5.0.11337.1968 (beta)

Which operating systems and browsers are affected?
XP with Service Pack 3 installed

Please provide any additional information (code snippets/links) below.
I developed displays similar to these in GE 4.3 and did not notice this 
fill problem.
