Strings starting with @ don't display properly in Excel #497

Contributor names in the contribution table start with a @ and excel treats that as a formula. When saving the contributor value is changed to "#NAME". One can put a ' at the from of the name to make it a string, but people will not know to do this when modifying their data. This seems to cause the upload system to not be able to upload the data. It passes the column header check and then shows the summary, but does not upload to my private workspace.

Should we just get rid of the @ prefix? I was trying to identify the usernames (private information) as handles (public information), but it appears to be also making users think the handle should be their email when updating it after logging in.

If we don't know the ORCID iD, is there a better way of identifying a person (contributor, scientist, analyst, etc.) in the contribution? Perhaps: "First1 Last1 name1@email.com":"First2 Last2 name2@email.com" like the contributor.author example?

All users are now required to have an ORCID id to upload going forward, so replacing the EarthRef user name with "First1 Last1 name1@email.com" seems reasonable. Then won't have to maintain the old username list at some point.
