USER STORY #1 - User Registration and Authentication

As a user (patient/specialist/admin), I want to register and log in securely so that I can access my dashboard and manage my activities.

Acceptance Criteria

• Users can register using a username, email, and password.
• Users can log in with their email/username and password.
• Upon successful login, users are redirected to their respective dashboards based on their role.
• Appropriate error messages are displayed for invalid inputs during registration or login.
• Password reset functionality is available for users who forget their password.

Task

• [ ] Install and configure django-allauth for user registration and authentication.
• [ ] Update INSTALLED_APPS in settings.py to include allauth and related apps.
• [ ] Configure AUTHENTICATION_BACKENDS in settings.py for allauth support.
• [ ] Set up URLs for authentication (/accounts/) in urls.py.
• [ ] Create custom templates for registration, login, and password reset.
• [ ] Configure user roles and role-based redirection after login.
• [ ] Test user registration, login, and password reset functionality.
