Cookie notice blocks Medium articles from fully loading

What happens?

When an article is opened in this website, if you scroll down a bit there will be a cookie notice at the top and you'll notice that articles don't expand. Instead, only a portion of the article is showing. You need to accept cookies for the rest of the website to load. There is also some red text at the top left, as seen in the screenshots I attached.

You're right. I guess it's just the cookie notice that's not being blocked.
