If development is stopped its time for me to switch to imageglass... thanks for the software

SolitudeSF commented 7 months ago

You dont need to announce that

CrypticCus commented 7 months ago

It was a question to dev. not your business.

CrypticCus commented 7 months ago

I really don't want to seeing so many unresolved issues makes me sad... other softwares are being taken care of have support for psd files and other features. sad such a nice UI is being wasted

Did you read the README? There's a literal war going on and they justifiably have taken a break from the project because of that? Use whatever you want, but you should do your due diligence before opening an Issue. More so, this issue is not a question or a legit issue.

I tried imageglass, it was useless and not even close to as perfect as qvimg is, despite all the bugs (that I personally never noticed). Seriously I've never used an image viewer as good as this one, but of course there is things I'd like to be improved, but it'll just have to wait and that's fine :)

This is arguably the best viewer for windows. The only one that i think it is better is gThumb, but unfortunately it has no builds for Windows that i'm aware of.

nah gThumb interface is dirty, qimgv is the best in terms of interface and responsiveness but lacks fast support :/ imageglass for me the way for now

jgregoire commented 5 months ago

You open an issue to complain that there are too many issues? This should have been, at most, a reddit post.

I like it that way, i can have much faster access to folders and it also has compatibility with lots of video codecs, which is one of the things that keep me away from ImageGlass and alike
