Deal with warnings appearing since upgrade to `ggplot2 3.5.0` #326

Let's wait for ggplot2 3.5.1 release before we work on this because there seem to be some unexpected warnings due to regressions. But they are already working on fixing them, so no work needed from our end.

Okay, even after 3.5.1, quite a few warnings survive. So we will definitely need to work on this.
