Just a reminder to everyone that our Fall 2019 semester project presentations are tomorrow (Monday December 9) at 10:45am in our classroom, McKenna Hall 136.
Each team will have 10 to 15 minutes to introduce their project and research questions, and to walk us through your work so far. I'd like to save at least 5 minutes for Q&A. Each team gets a maximum of 20 minutes total for presentation and discussion.
How you'll be presenting: You'll be using the computer in the classroom to project, or my computer (or your own computer if you have a connector for VGA or HDMI).
What to share: You may show us around your project website and your GitHub repo to share what's in progress and also to tell us something about your decisions in marking up the work you chose. You may ask us to respond to anything you'd like some help or advice on as you're working on completing the project. Every project should have some results from analysis of your markup posted (something you've generated with XSLT, whether a chart or some SVG plots, etc. )
Afterwards: Each of you will be assigned to choose two project teams (other than your own), and leave comments for them on their GitHub Issues tab about something you liked about the presentation/project so far, and something you'd recommend they work on.
Here is a list of our Fall 2019 project sites and GitHub repos. When you're ready to comment you can open an issue on the team GitHub, come up with a good title for it (project feedback), and leave your comment. The team can choose what to do with its comments over the course of the week.
