This is a long-standing issue. Historically we have avoided wrangling projects that reuse primary data from other projects as we do not have a method of representing them in our metadata schema. We have moved to wrangling only the primary data within the project, and now are attempting to tackle this issue.
There will be parallels with the 'how to represent bionetworks, their atlases, and the constituent projects'
