@mcourtot that is reasonable. I would change the wording slightly:
Disclaimer: Always keep a local copy of the uploaded files until the files have been successfully submitted and archived. The Covid file upload area is a temporary storage area where data is held prior to submission.
I think there are actually a number of other warnings to users that are relevant here beyond the message to retain files until we process, such user should remove human reads, user needs to have the right to submit, user should check release date as release data can’t be fully revoked, etc.
It is perhaps a bit odd to separate this one caveat out - maybe a link to a doc. that summarises these?
Thanks,
Guy.

@guycochrane sounds good.
@Jeena-Rajan I'm assigning this ticket to you for now then, with the task to provide documentation text for all the caveats to be mentioned to users
@dipayan1985 we'll reassign to you once we have the text to be added to the documentation.
As we prepare to release to the general public, we should add a disclaimer to the uploader as follow:
Disclaimer: Always keep a local copy of the uploaded files until the files have been successfully submitted and archived. The Covid file upload area is a temporary transit area which is not backed up.
