Thank you for pointing this out: modified amino acids is an area of the ontology to which we still have to turn our attention. I have changed CHEBI:21239 so that this refers now to arogenic acid (i.e. with no stereochemistry specified). This now has a valid parent relationship to the stereo-specified L-isomer which retains the id CHEBI:17530. The change will be reflected in the next release of ChEBI, scheduled for Feb. 22.
