Vitamin C role vs D, E and others as chemical entities #3464

"Vitamin C" is defined as a role while all the other vitamins in CHEBI are chemical entities, so vitamin D, E etc. Seems like all the others would have roles too - 1 step removed from chemical entity, but perhaps they are more 1-1 than C? Ascorbic acid is also in CHEBI, but has no synonym or other link to Vitamin C. It makes it difficult to list them all together as vitamins in an ontology subscribing to BFO, since roles as specifically dependent continuants are disjoint from material entities as independent continuants, where all the other vitamins are parked.
