[Chore] Merge hotfix branch to develop #416

WIP: !!! change atlas-web-core to the correct one, too. !!!

This PR merges the currently working hotfix branch into develop branch. After this merge all the previous changes regarding to the experiment design table are going to be reverted. We are going to investigate those changes in a later ticket.

I am going to close this merge as this is not fixing the original issue and the develop branch is already contains all the modifications that the hotfix branch has.
